Gingerbread House

Hi everyone and welcome back to the Imagine if "blog hop"

If you have joined in here you can start at Imagine if

I have chosen to decorate my MDF Laser cut house from Imagine if in a Christmas theme

To start off with I have used Gesso to cover all the edges and areas I need to paint followed by two coats of vintage white paint.

I have covered each section of the house with an older paper collection from
 DCWV Mrs Claus's Kitchen.
What a beautiful traditional paper it is and it all fitted together without and trouble!
I have inked the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage photo Di stress ink!
soooo love that product :)

The ginger bread man I fussy cut from the collection and popped him in the chimney!
My Grandchildren are going to fall in love with this one.

I used my decorative edge punch on some of the glitter pages to add to the roof for more "pop"
A fussy cut tree and a lovely Laser cut Sentiment from Imagine if!

I used barn door and peeled paint di stress ink on the sentiment with a touch of stickles.
Then I glued each element onto the wee house.

For a fun part of the little gingerbread house I left the bottom off for access to adding a tea light to light up the inside and show the way through the windows and door to reveal inside a picture of stockings hanging on the wall!

A Christmas tree in the corner of the room!

And Christmas covering on the floor!

I hope you have enjoyed this Design Team Project for Imagine if.

I am sure my grandchildren will enjoy seeing this every Christmas at Nana's house.
