Vintage Jewel Bag

 Hi everyone :)

 

This is a recent project I completed and fell in love with too!

I think its just one of my loves :)

 

 

I started the bag off with a nice wide lace, lined it with a tea dyed cotton fabric.

 Vintage photo and Victorian velvet inks are used to dye the laces and fabrics.

 

I have layered trims, cheese cloth,crochet and appliques to create the embellishments and finally threaded seam binding to make a pull closure.
