A cute box to hold cards and envelopes using Graphic 45 Gilded Lily

Hi everyone and welcome back to my happy place....

Today I am sharing a tutorial for this lovely box filled with cards
this will make a great gift for your grandmother, mother, daughter or any of the ladies in your life

The box measures 6" x 4"

To start off cut one piece of card stock at 10" x 10" for the base
And one piece at 9 1/16" x 5 1/16" for the lid

Take the base piece and score at 2" and 8" turn and score at 4" and 6" it should look like this

Now take lid and score at 1 1/2" on all sides so it looks like this

Now cut tabs on each piece to look like this

Now fold up all score lines and burnish to get a crisp edge on all pieces

I have cut to fit my papers and glued them on before building the box and lid.....they will look like this

Add tape or/and glue then fold and attach to form a box shape on both bottom and top

You will see how to glue and/or tape the box and lid together ....like this

I have kept the embellishments simple but elegance is easy with Graphic 45 Gilded Lily

Next I have cut card stock at 7" x 3 1/2" and folded in half to create a card...
Embellish with matching collection

I used my envelope punch board to create the envelopes

A pretty box of cards for any occasion

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this project......
